About our President
Idelirë Consulting, LLC was founded by Düden Yegenoglu in early February 2010. She is also the Vice President of Elle in Le Kazan International, Inc., a trade facilitation company also based in Roswell, GA, and Executive Director at the Delahunt Group International, LLC. In September 2010, she was appointed to the US-Turkey Business Council by the US Department of Commerce. Ms. Yegenoglu is also an Instructor at the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University, where she teaches on international business practices and globalization, giving back to the community and helping young Atlantans consider a possible career in international trade
In 2007, she established in Washington, D.C. the first US Office of the Turkish Union of Chambers & Commodity Exchanges (TOBB), Turkey’s largest business organization equivalent to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. She was appointed to serve as TOBB's U.S. Representative by TOBB Chairman Mr. Rifat Hisarciklioglu with the mission to help improve U.S.-Turkey bilateral trade and investment relations. In this capacity, Ms. Yegenoglu represented more than 365 chambers of commerce and more than 1.3 million businesses from Turkey at important government-to-government bilateral meetings and spoke at a number of international conferences. She was also the US Representative of Turkey’s Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK). During this time, she provided consulting services to companies and organizations in the US and abroad in the following areas: strategic consulting, international trade consulting, and policy consulting. In 2005 and 2006, Ms. Yegenoglu worked as a researcher at two important Washington think tanks, the Woodrow Wilson Center and the Washington Institute, and co-authored a number of articles on foreign affairs.
Ms. Yegenoglu graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornell University in French Literature and Government. Her honor’s thesis at Cornell, entitled “Démocratie est tragédie?” (Is Democracy a Tragedy?), was awarded the Romance Studies Department’s Corson Prize for the best undergraduate thesis written in French. Ms. Yegenoglu also studied abroad in Paris, France, at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences-Po) for one year, where she obtained the Diplome du Programme International with honors. Ms. Yegenoglu has a Master of Public Administration degree from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, where she was a FLAS fellow.
Her many awards include the Harvard Book Award, the Georgia Certificate of Merit, and the ECIS Award for International Understanding.
Ms. Yegenoglu is fluent in English, French and Turkish, and proficient in Spanish. She also has basic reading and writing skills in Russian. She is a proud member of the Atlanta Press Club, the Commerce Club, and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.
